Bereaved Families of Ontario - South Central Region invites you to our annual
Family Tree of Lights Candle Lighting Ceremony.
Bereaved Families of Ontario - South Central Region's Family Tree of Lights Candle Lighting Ceremony will take place in person this year on Thursday December 14th, 2023 at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home in Burlington.
With each donation of $25 or more, you will receive a charitable tax receipt, the opportunity to illuminate a light on our tree, place a message for your loved one(s) on our tree of lights, provide you with a candle to take home. With your donation, your loved ones' name will be honoured during the in person event.
All names to be read during the event must be received by December 11th, 2023.
For our annual Family Tree of Lights Candle Light Ceremony, you will finally have the opportunity to join families and individuals at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home in Burlington for an in person event. A beautiful opportunity to gather together to honour the loved ones in our lives who have died.
This year's event will include beautiful musical performances and a children's art & crafts room for our young attendees who would like to take part in some holiday activities.
Donations in honour of your loved one(s) are welcome and provide BFO-SCR the ability to continue to provide free grief support programs for our community. A donation of $25 or more will provide you with the opportunity to illuminate a light on our tree, place a message for your loved one(s) on our tree of lights, provide you with a candle to take home. With your donation, your loved ones' name will be honoured during the in person event and will be published on our website. A gorgeous holiday ornament has been chosen for this year's event. To purchase an ornament, please visit our ornament online store. Pre-orders are highly recommended as supply is limited this year. You are welcome to pick up your order at the event or you are welcome to schedule curbside pick-up at our office location, 300 Fennell Ave. East, Hamilton.
